Game Cancellation/Rescheduling

Standard Game Conflict & Rescheduling Process:

Contact Your Opponent

This is the most important step. Please let them know as soon as possible that you have a conflict, so they don’t show up at the rink expecting a game. Contact info for all upcoming opponents is available in your dashboard when you log into the VHL site.

Submit a Game Cancellation Online

Log into the website and look for "Game Cancellation" in the left menu bar. Select the game in question and follow the prompts to submit the cancellation.

Reschedule the Game

Rescheduling is often done using one team’s practice ice, or in some cases, ice that becomes available due to a cancellation by another VL opponent. If using your own ice, you’ll need to arrange for referees and a timekeeper.

Dan can usually help arrange coverage. Please note: officials will need to be paid at the game, and Dan can provide the current rates.

Submit the Make-Up Game Sheet (Squirts thru Bantams)

Once the game is played, send a PDF of the completed game sheet to ValleyLeague@valley-associates.com.  For Mite X-ice games, we simply need the score of the game reported to us.
