Medford Coed Travel Teams

Travel Hockey is a co-ed hockey program that plays in the Valley Hockey League.

DIVISIONS:

• MITES 8U: Birth years 2018-2020 (Mites play cross-ice, 4v4)
• SQUIRTS 10U: Birth year 2016 and 2017
• PEEWEES 12U: Birth year 2014 and 2015
• BANTAMS 14U: Birth year 2012 and 2013
• MIDGETS 18U: Birth year 2008 - 2011 (Half season)

WHEN:

The season runs from September thru late March/early April, depends on when playoffs are.

WHERE:

Practices and skills take place at LoConte Rink, 97 Locust Street in Medford

Games take place at various local rinks.

PRACTICES:

There are two team practices a week.

Practices and skills take place weekdays. (schedule subject to change when High School hockey starts)

Practices are scheduled by MRHA and are posted on our website, in the rink and on the Crossbar app.

GAMES:

Mites play approximately 20-25 games per season.

Squirts, Peewees and Bantams play approximately 30-40 games over the course of the season, as well as playoffs.

Games take place on the weekends and are scheduled by the Valley League Hockey.

Teams also play in tournaments.

UNIFORMS:

Players are fitted for practice and game jerseys over the summer. They also receive game socks. Included in tuition.
