Medford Youth Hockey Girl's Hockey offer USA Hockey sanctioned youth hockey programs for boys and girls 4-18 years old.

1. TRAVEL TEAM - FALL~WINTER TEAMS: Fall~Winter Travel Teams are formed from "Spring Travel Team Tryouts/Evaluations" held in March before the skating rinks closes for the summer in preparation for the September season start. Travel Teams formed are Mite-A and Mite-B for players 6-8 years old, Squirt-A and Squirt-B for players 9 & 10 years old, Peewee-A and Peewee-B for players 11 & 12 years old, Bantam-A and Bantam-B for players 13 & 14 years old, Midget-A and Midget-B for players 15-18 years old.
For girls interested in girls only travel team hockey, Medford Youth Hockey continues our partnership with the Mass. Bay Warriors consisting of players from Medford, Burlington, Woburn and surrounding communities for Girl's 10 & Under, Girl's 12 & Under, Girl's 14 & Under and Girl's 19 & Under. The Travel Team season begins in September and ends in April. The number of teams are based on the number of players who register at each age level.

2. HOUSE LEAGUE - (In-House - Intramural) PROGRAM: Parents interested in our House League (In-House Program) for boys and girls ages 4-12 (Mites to Peewees) can signup online at www.medfordrechockey.com from October through to December and the overall program runs from October to March. The House League Program offers three levels of USA Hockey sanctioned ADM (American Development Model) programs:
#1 - Learn to Skate for beginners and new players to learn and develop their ice skating in a group setting.
#2 - Development Clinic for players who can skate, and require the next level of fundamental hockey skills.
#3 - Learn to Play Team Hockey for players who can skate and have fundamental hockey skills. These teams are formed with minimal number of players to allow players from the Development Clinic an opportunity to move up to one of the (4) teams during the season.

HOME RINK: Built in 1970 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Managed by the City of Medford LoConte Rink, the LoConte Rink is located at 97 Locust St. within the Hormel Stadium Complex off Route #16 and across from the Meadow Glen Shopping Center (Wegmans, Kohl's, Dicks Sporting Goods, Etc.) in Medford, Massachusetts.
